Global Citizenship Programs

Global Citizenship English Camp
  • Students from 5th grade to 7th grade learn a variety of topics in English such as the environment, fair-trading, human rights, and peace to prepare them to be global citizens.
Multi-Lingual Class
  • This class provides students with not only international & traditional cultural programs, but also experienced-based language classes including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Russian.
Aha! Multi-Cultural Class
  • This class is specially designed to help students better understand multiple cultures through cooking, handcrafts, and plays.

Special English Programs

Gifted Course Program
  • This program aims to increase the capabilities of students who have a gift for English through project￾based activities, an excursion and a two-day leadership session.
Jump Start English Program
  • With the goal of growing their interests in English, this program teaches phonics and basic skills to lower level students with fewer past experiences in English learning.

Programs for Teachers

In-Service Training Programs

  • We provide in-service training programs for all the English teachers in Chungbuk.

Overseas Training Programs

  • The international education policy research project aims to learn lessons from leading countries in sustainable development education, and to conduct research on foreign education policies and exemplary cases.

    The overseas global citizenship training program is designed for teachers to research and learn how to effectively teach global citizenship education at overseas training centers.

Intensive English Programs

  • English teachers are given a six-month intensive training program that allows them to go abroad, explore the curriculum of foreign schools, and participate in their teaching practices.

International Exchange Program

The CBIEI Promotes International Exchange Programs

  • The CBIEI hosts the international youth forum and exchange program for youth delegations from the Republic of Korea and other countries to discuss human rights, peace, and the environment.

    The institute also develops and provides a manual outlining the process of international exchange to support and promote school-level international exchange programs.

Programs for Students from Multi-Cultural Families

Korean Language Program
  • This class teaches the language and the culture of the Republic of Korea to help students better adjust to life in Korea.
Mentoring Support for Students of Multi-Cultural Families and North Korean Defectors
  • This class is designed to make sure that essential counselling and basic learning skills are provided to the students of multi-cultural families and North Korean defector families to ensure that they can be well adapted to school life.

Services for Parents from Multi-Cultural Families

News Letter Translation Service in Multiple Languages
  • News letters are translated in multiple languages and sent to multi-cultural families.

Family English Experience Course

  • Elementary students as well as their parents learn English together by playing games and doing collaborative work.

Multi-Cultural Families Camp

  • Elementary school students and their parents experience plays, cooking classes, and handcrafts to improve their understanding of different cultures.

Multi-Cultural Parents' Club

  • This club includes parents of multi-cultural families and native Korean families who share and exchange information on education.
